Ah finally, the chief Chowdar head comes to the defense of Phi Beta Torpp, but there will be no retractions here. What's said about Rychart is all conjecture, but what was said about Cadar rings true.

A gorgeous and beautifully written post that, in essense, is the very beginning of a book. That is how you start a novel.
An enthusiastic +1

Cadar has an unhealthy attachment to torpedoes. When I first joined the forum, it was there - but it's gotten soooooooooooooooo much worse.
Rychart still has a hat fetish. It's become less well-known in recent times, but let's face it, Rychart produce the highest quality textiles in the quadrant. If it weren't for their hats, 62% of their industry would have collapsed in the last two decades.

I hear the social scientists over on Rychart Prime are launching a new study to figure out the relationship between Cadar's growing fascination with their own torpedos and the increasing prevalence of Cadar women who sport a burly hairlip. I'm predicting a direct correlation. It would go a long way to explaining the need for the vat-born.

Cadar scientists are studying a Rychart phenomenon wherein a direct inverse correlation exists between the size of one's hat and the size of one's phallus.

(made me so sad. ) Hmmmmm, I guess I thought it just meant a hairy upper lip, but now that I Google it I realize I may not have gotten it quite right. Either way I'm sure that if the Cadar keep raising new recruits in vats it's only a matter of time till they are all horribly misshapen. @blast you didn't need to go and get all vulgar.

Looking through old threads, and I find an interesting case being made for Rychart. Whenever I lose a captain, it's almost always to either Rychart (early game) or Xenoforms (late game). Rychart ships ALWAYS seem to know to come at the worst possible moments, so I have some respect for the scale of their surveillance operations. If Rychart REALLY wanted to stop the De Valtos, they should just turn their worlds over to Steel Song. With such resources, we could make DV's leadership "disappear" within the year.
