Ya know, wouldn't it be awesome as a reward for a decent challenge if you got an Escape Shuttle added to every ship you BUY (does not include ships that you commandeer). Maybe Getting doing the Independent Captain challenge, but on Insane or above? So Independent Captain on Hard will still net you the Artifact thingamajig, and can also get you the built-in Escape shuttle on Insane

Alternatively if you have a Galaxy Note you can just press on the screen with the pen while doing the pens clicked. Auto takes the screens and opens up the picture editor. When I first got the Note I was a little salty at my fiance for making us get it, but after using this big old beast of a phone for a year I don't think I can ever go back to a standard phone. So comfortable...

Following the info from the site I did not require rooting of my phone. Your correct about most apps needing root, I have spent the past few day looking on google play and almost all the apps require a rooted device or cost a few bucks. This trick work for me for free. You can not argue with results like that, unless you pay five dollars for five minutes.

Okay I found out that for Android 4.0 and above, hold volume down + power button together. After about half a second, you'll get a notification a screenshot has been taken. You can preview the screenshot in the notifications section of Android. From a useful website, I got this: SO in short, try the home + power button, try the back + power button, or if in doubt, use Google to search your phone device ... something like "Galaxy Ace Screenshot hotkeys" You should find that the Home button + power button = screenshot. Gravling, you should be able to take a screenshot with your Samsung Galaxy by pressing the "home" button + the "return" button. So ... the upshot of this is that (a) you are able to get screenshots on most android devices, BUT the technique differs between manufacturers until you get to 4.0. Trust in Google Absolutely no combination of button pushing would do the job for me. But, finally today, I found something that works. sourceforge.net/projects/ashot/Android Screenshots and Screen Capture Note: to get this to work you will need to have the android sdk and java installed. (But I had that already). You will also have to make a link or copy adb from the adk platform-tools to tools. Why Google thought it would be a hot idea to move the program and break everybody on the planet's scripts I will never know. But otherwise, it just works as advertised and is very easy to use. Description here: www.mightypocket.com/2010/08/android-screenshots-screen-capture-screen-cast/ I'm happy now

The only way I can find to get a screen shot on my Kindle Fire is to take a picture of it with my phone. No volume buttons, only on/off button. If someone knows an easy/free way, please let me know.

This method only works with the second generation Kindle fire. The new generation comes in a 7 inch, and 8.9 inch. If the one you purchased did not have "HD" (high defintion) in the name it is a first generation. The second generation Kindle Fire HD has 3 buttons on the top. Volume Up, Down, and power. However that does not mean you cannot take a screen shot using the first generation. It takes allot more effort, but once installed should work ok. I did'nt include the Google links for this method in my post. The information is definetly out there. If you do it, would you please add a tutorial for 1st generation to this thread? I also have a first generation, and if I get the time will add the method to the thread. I know it's tough to squeeze more out of a busy day. I'm curious. When you mentioned taking screen shots on your phone. Did you mean when you are running the app version of the game on a cellphone? Can you help me understand why that isn't free, and what brand of phone that is. Your technique would be a helpful addition to this thread, and I really want to learn more. Thanks
