Then again, weight might not make much of a difference at that length of blade.

How about nano mites that auto heal you in battle, restoring 1 HP at the start of each combat round. This could be a cheap alternative to nano armor and help save some yen. I have been in some battles where I went through more nano med kits than what the job paid and that was with my super knight that has all his skills maxed out. It was a fun battle though!

Some random implant ideas.
Drone shield: scrambles drone targeting systems to reduce chance of being hit. Also makes it easier to evade drone patrols in encounters.
Synth-muscle: electro-reactive polymer fibers are implanted in the users muscle tissue, increasing strength and athletics. Reduced dexterity as fine muscle control is somewhat sacrificed for explosive power.
"Diplomat" implant: recognizes involuntary signals from targets like perspiration, voice changes, and muscle twitches. Increases negotiation and intimidation.
Hammer Fist: hand bones are reinforced and a pneumatic piston is installed in the wrist. Greatly increase punch force. Does MP damage, claws can be reworked to do HP damage.
Techno-Savant Implant: processors and skillware are implanted in the back of the skull, increasing hacking and electronics. Reduces negotiation as the implant causes the user to become socially detached.
Circadian Regulator: regulates sleep center in users brain, allowing for longer periods of wakefulness without ill effects. Allows extra 12 hours before exhaustion, but reduced mind due to altered brain function.
Wraithware: light and sound detectors are implanted throughout the body and are linked to a central processor in the brain. Increases stealth, high DV cost.

ncaoa - sounds like the already designed and drawn "nano-injector" set of implants. Stay tuned! Drawn and designed? Implement it some day! I'm Max Mercer, more Metal than Man

Sounds like there will be a new Fall Catalog in the works! What? I'll assume that means that you'll maybe make that one? If yes, how many of these implants you'll implement? Lol. I'm Max Mercer, more Metal than Man

Ear implant (hehe) - allows you to eavesdrop on citizens, and pick up rumors on random.
Hair implants (hehehe) - allows the character to modify appearance slightly, allowing a saving throw for heat generation
Secret body compartments - reduce chance of random "we know what you're carrying" encounters.

Hmmmm... the last one could aswell decrease the chance of getting the 'Get that job done faster, knight!' Encounter...
I like these ideas, hehe...

Weapon neural link: ties a sighting device of a weapon directly to a user's brain via use of an induction pad in the grip and galvanic implant in the palm of the hand for personal weapons, wireless local area network for up to four remote sentry guns for setting up ambushes, defensive positions, ect. A display implanted in the eye shows an overlay of the optic sensor in the weapon- allowing for accurate fire from behind corners or over obstacles.

I like it - my first thought when reading that was "gun link over WLAN? Now THAT would be a fun hack".
