Is there a reason to install more than 20MP of memory if your just taking contracts for Data Courier jobs? Absolutely. The job payout, file size, rep bonus are all driven by the number of MP you've got. It checks your head and gives you a pay/ rep / file that fits in your memspace.

So does that mean you should only take one courier job at a time for maximum benefit? Also shouldn't it show how much space you have available after taking a job? Finally does the grade of data jack affect the jobs at all?

Not for date courier, it should show that in "Computer" but for Matrix updates your integrated Headware memory that is unused will be converted to Active Memory (not Storage Memory) so that display will stay as is until Matrix v3.
