Unless I'm missing something, there is currently no way to actually remove ammunition from your cyberloader. I would love a way to take ammo out of the dumb thing, even if it means wasting the ammo completely. So, maybe do something like this.
Tap on the cyberloader and have an option for the cyberloader to dump select ammo (pistol/auto/heavy), totally wasting said ammo.
-or-
Tap on the cyberloader, have the ability to pay 50 credits per X amount of ammo to spit out X bullet bundles into your inventory.
or something like that anyway. It would be nice for me to have a way to free up the space that pistol ammo is eating up in my inventory.

johndramey - can you explain why you want to clear your Cyberloader? There is no way to do this today, but I am not sure I understand why you'd want to.

It would be nice for me to have a way to free up the space that pistol ammo is eating up in my inventory. Given that the cyberloader currently has unlimited capacity, why do you care? There is no relationship between what you have in your carried inventory (where the pistol ammo takes up space until you get around selling it at the Pawn shop) and what you have in your equipped inventory (where the cyberloader just is one entry and takes up the same amount of space however much pistol armor you have loaded)? Am I missing something here? I used to be the case that you wouldn't get warned that you were about to run out of auto ammo if you still had pistol in your cyberloader, even if you weren't weilding a gun that wanted pistol ammo, but that is fixed for at least a week now. Or are you still having problems?

You could sell removed ammo?

Has some thing changed that I missed? I thought the loader was limited to 300 rounds max. If this is the case, I can see why some may want to have a way to unload ammo their not going to use.
The loader claims to be limited, but those of us who have tested this have found no limit there.

The ammo limit for the cyberloader has yet to be implemented so you can store unlimited quantities for now. Think this will probably change once the encumbrance rules get added.

Ah, sorry about that then. I was unaware of the fact that the cyberloader was not actually limited. I thought that it was, because of the displayed max of 300 units. If there is no limit then my request is a little silly, selling ammo would actually not be a big help at all unless you were selling heavy, and even then it would be a huge net loss if you purchased some and then decided to sell it later. Might I make a small suggestion about how ammo is done then? If and when a max is actually implemented can the starting ammo be deposited into the knight's inventory rather than their cyberloader? I don't know about others, but I generally tend to beeline for a higher powered rifle that uses auto ammunition. Due to that I rarely if ever actually use that 50 pistol ammo. Losing 20% of your cyberloader capacity is a minor inconvenience, to be sure, but those of us that are anal retentive might have a hard time accepting that 50 staring at us every time we look at our equipped items. fallen The main reason I wanted to clear the loader is because I'm a relentless anal retentive and hate having something in my inventory that is not necessary. There really is not rational reason for it to bother me. I'll admit this could just be me, haha. Attachments:

As your negotiation skill increases, you can start to sell ammo and other things for a profit. Find the right shop, buy heavy ammo for 750, then sell it for 1000 at the next shop.

I'm really not sure how to fix that one, conceptually. Add Heat for selling and dealing? Make shops run out of inventory?

There will always be loopholes when it comes to these kinds of games so I would recommend not really losing sleep over it. The system seems pretty good as it is, you could always lower the resell value of med packs/ammo/drugs in order to balance out the resell-for-more thing, but then players will find some other way to exploit the system.
I say don't worry about it. The system is in place and it works well. I didn't even really know about it, and I'm sure most casual players don't either.
Although adding heat for selling weapons/ammo would be a very interesting dynamic. If having the shops have a limited inventory while having them refresh it every x time is possible it could be feasible as well.

I like both concept. Buying military artilery and enough ammunition to run an army would certainly draw unwanted attention, and limited inventory would give CK a more realistic feel like ST.
