I like them! Might I make a small suggestion though.... Currently you have everything covered for simple missions, but when we get to the more complicated missions (for instance, Secrets of Envidius in the Secrets of a Dark Age campaign) where there are multiple objectives things can get a little.... confusing.
So.... why not itemize the objectives list. Meaning, instead of
Destroy all remaining egg-sacks. Proceed to the center of the inner sanctuary. When your objectives are complete, return to the entryway.
put something like this.
1. Proceed to the center of the inner sanctuary. 2. Destroy all remaining egg-sacks 3. Return to the insertion point for extraction.
That way you can make a simple modification to the objective symbol and make it much, much clearer. That simple addition being.... a number in the inner part. Circle with a 1 in it? That's the first objective! 2? Second. Rinse and repeat.
Obviously this will take a lot of doing, so I'm sure it can't be done quickly. However, I'd be more than happy to help if you guys need anything. Or I guess if you need any help Andrew, as it seems you're largely in charge of this grunt work art/design task.
johndramey - thanks for pointing to the more complicated levels to make sure we have a workable design from the beginning. Having a second set of objective markers would make some levels easier. The second phase of this effort will be to go back over the text briefings and remove confusing secondary objectives and the like ("Kill all the xenos" -- when that's not really something you can do!).
