I did a quick search, but I couldn't find anything on this one.
Do you have to talk to Mallor True When playing MnB or is he optional?

He gives you missions which you need to complete (I believe).

He gives you missions which you need to complete (I believe). He's optional. You can ignore him, and when your rep gets to, I think over 75 a taxi will show up regardless and you can take it out of there. Leaving is faster if you do his missions, however, especially since one of them gets you a 2 job computer.

sonicsickle - it is in your best interest to work with True. You can get some good loot (2 job computer), and he's a good combat teacher if you aren't already a pro.

ok. I didn't talk to him this time running MnB. It was the first time I hadn't. Wasn't sure if it was a bug or not.

sonicsickle - you can go around him on purpose to avoid some other bugs that happen which we are still working to track down. It's amazingly complicated at times to run a state-based game when someone might get a phone call or hit the Home button in the middle of a critical event, and then Android conveniently throws away your game state!

haha, no I went around him just because I didnt feel I was ready, but when I went to big dig taxi delivering a package, I fat fingered the button. Didnt think it would work, but bam, NBZ.

Came here specifically to ask about this... I found Mallor True, but he gives me a task to kill either James Whitey or Shady Dusty (can't remember which). Says he's a drunk, should be easy to find, etc... but doesn't say how to find him?
I've gone to every single open door, including locations not in the HUD (I think?) and it's either an empty building or a hotel/store/clinic... I haven't seen this dude anywhere.
How do I complete this mission??
Thanks!

chris - the intention is that you would go and ask about Hames Whitey at the End of the Road Bar.

I must have hit a bug then - first thing I did was go to both bars in the tunnels, there's no option to ask for him My only options here are asking "orxa" (sp?) for work or getting refreshments... no option for whitey. I'll try starting a new game and let you know how it turns out - not devastated I did read another post about how hard it is to code when Android discards data after receiving a phone call, etc... it's definitely possible that I received a couple of calls around the time I first got the message from Mallor True... who knows Thanks for the very fast response though - impressive!

chris - thanks for being understanding. We are always trying to make the game better! Let us know how your second run through goes and if you hit the problem!

Secon run through worked like a charm. However, nite I'm stuck in the vault and can't find an exit anywhere? He says"the only way out is the way we came," but there is no exit there? Sorry fir being a pain... Love the game so far

chris - not a pain at all! Have you reached the area where you can loot the crates? If so, walk all the way south there to the tile nearest to the smuggler's hideout. That should bring up a prompt giving you the option to blow the support column and collapse the place. If you've finished exploring, trigger it! P.s. actually, I really appreciate the feedback. It is always great to see our flaws through a pair of fresh eyes so we can see how to make the game better!
