Ok i just found a carnifex cruiser 225 crew and 40 guns. It's too bad i can't buy it But my finrir dart will do just fine. Is it weird that the carnifex uses 0.00 in the green and 0.48 in the red? You know what i'm going to buy it. Hey they disappeared! Well at least i found another one which I did buy. My finrir dart uses 0.00 when blockading! 0.0 fuel during blockading is impossible, at least on higher difficulties. 0.3 maybe, but never 0.0.

@starfixer-Then i guess i've done the impossible 57 pilot 100 intimidate and a finrir dart with the upgrade that reduces fuel consumption in orbit. On easy difficulty yes

I've had pilot of over 1000 and I've never been able to do that. Then again, all of my ships have over 300 crew, so that it could explain it

@starfixer-That could also be the problem your pilot might be too high

@starfixer-That could also be the problem your pilot might be too high lol your Pilot can never be TOO high. My guess is that its the difficulty and the ship.

@starfixer-What i mean is that pilot can actually increase fuel consumption from 0.00 to 0.14 i don't know if it effects blockading or not

Hahahaha ... @starfixer is one of our resident experts when it comes to understanding how all of the different skills and attributes affects game play. I very much doubt that there is a point where increasing pilot increases fuel consumption Blockading is done in orbit over a planet, which requires your solar sails to be retracted. The result is that you're flying inefficiently, so your fuel consumption is never as good as green zones - although it's not necessarily as bad as flying through red zones.

So in other words, what you're saying AA, is that you could literally press the blockade button forever and never have your fuel drop at all?

@starfixer-No just like 0.00 in the red it's less then 0.01 but more then 0.000. But it only shows 0.00. But unless your planning to blockade for 1000AE you won't run out

I never realized difficulty could play that big of a role in wc. Ive had over 1000 pilot and thats never happened to me. It could also be because im always flying with QUICK and large-crew ships, which consume more fuel than normal.

Tagging Cory Trese for his thoughts because that's not how the game is supposed to work - otherwise yeah, you'd exploit the blockades for all it's worth (and queue up an hour worth of blockade toasts

Turning off those alerts means you don't get the conflict change toasts as well - and all of a sudden, you're killing Steel Song ships when they are allied with Devaltos (although WHY, I have no idea). Then, after a decade of indiscriminate killing, you find your RP with Devaltos has been severely impacted, and you've lost rank, trade permits, and all good stuff like that
