casivek - the dice can be very mean ... especially in ST. Yeah I noticed, I had my lvl 15 explorer going to turn in century award then he died cause of an indy pirate |

It is possible to roll a hive on any difficulty ... they shouldn't be hostile ... at least not in Star Traders.

Well sadly it was, and not from my doing cause the text was in red before combat started. I can't really tell you how it could have happened but that's the only time a hive was hostile in any of my games. Which inconveniently was happening to a lvl 1 captain I was starting, for all of the -rep awards. |

They shouldn't be hostile ... at least not in Star Traders. I was once attacked by lvl 262 Colony Space Hive. Unprovoked. I cannot ask the Captain for details, as he is dead  (but have a few screenshots). |
