So if I take a contract that isn't to a city I go to the proper map region, but then I have no idea where the contract is going to take me. Am I missing something or is this one of those yet-to-be worked out things?
If I show up in a region with a handful of contracts I just chose whatever one is closest to expiring and hit "plot" then the autopilot takes me somewhere to complete the contract. If I knew the exact locations I could plan a good efficient route to accomplish all of commissions, but since I don't the autopilot might have me totally zig-zagging across the see, into the wind, away from any towns. I sure hope I'm just missing something simple.

No probably it's a feature in newcoming releases, i have the same problem Time to time, i think there are tons of missing features (i make the confront with ST game, that's the most similar to AoP), but ehy, it's a fresh game and(i think) adding all the stuff right now could be produce thousand bugs in one shot

The commissions do show coordinates *after* you signed them. It's awkward but doable to make a route by comparing the coordinates.

Yeah, but a sign on the map could be quicker to recognize like ST also 'cause the commission menu gives u the exact coordinates only when u are in the related commission zone

Another question about commissions, (I thought this thread would be the most relevent) are there any plans to allow players to choose their commissions from a list rather than go through them all one at a time? It can get a bit tedious and more thsn once I have drifted off and declined one I wanted. Amazing game, really kills the time on my commute to work.

@jay - thanks for the feedback, we are continuing to work on improving the part of the game while still keeping it balanced!

At least in Age of Pirates you have a map to help you, Star Traders don't even have that. However it will be helpful to select from a list so I can quickly pick those in the same vicinity. I too play the 2 games during my commute to/from work and whatever loitering time otherwise. Unlike some of the die hard players, print out maps etc are impossible for us.
