I got the second Acknowledge bug again last night--where you get "Acknowledge" on the actual combat screen, in place of "Depart".

I do not think that is a bug. When you press Battle Stations and have not attacked, Acknowledge is still an option.
If you are reporting something other than "Acknowledge" being available after Battle Stations, let me know. I know you reported another thing you called "Acknowledge Bug" that was related to death following acknowledgement. If that is the issue I need more information because in v3.6.3 all known instances have been corrected.

I've only seen it three times, and the first two were when I went to Battles Stations after hitting the other Acknowledge Bug. I guess I just have accidentally hit Battle Stations on a friendly ship this time, which I'd never done before.

Yes it is really supposed to look like that -- Acknowledge was only recently added to the introduction screen and sometimes I hit battlestations and then change my mind.

I often encounter a friendly ship and go straight to battle stations and then acknowledge them.
(It's usually when I'm looking for a new ship and I'm wondering to myself, "Hrmm. I know that's a friendly faction, and that I'll pay for it, but that there ship looks REALLY TASTY. Why don't we go to battlestations and head over so I can check her out, after all if she's got a 'I brake for fat chicks' bumper sticker I might just have to 'transfer ownership' in a friendly Cadar-style manner.....")
