I normally never upgrade guns, this ship was "just for fun" with one of my retired captains. He managed to scotch a level 259 Zorga after the Heela. Maybe he's not ready for the wheelchair just yet.

Amazon released. Dragging their heels with CK though. @starfixer : Exalt. I remember at least the gravity scoop to be your idea. Love that one.

It came to me after the water recycling plant came out and I noticed that it was only helping for deep-space and not blockade, surveillance as I still was having to refuel every 10 turns.

It functions for Surveillance and Blockade, not for Deep Space.

Yeah I figured. Still, it's a good upgrade for military officers, zealots, spies and alien hunters. Actually, that gives me a new upgrade idea

how much will the scoop help for wc? 20%/ turn? .5 units/ turn? Dependent on a bunch of factors?

how much will the scoop help for wc? 20%/ turn? .5 units/ turn? Dependent on a bunch of factors? It is about the same as the W-F Plant -- 0.5 to 1.2 units depending on planet and Ship condition / size. Ships with large reactors will benefit the most from a scooop.

Wait, the planet determines fuel? Well I suppose for landings it would be harder to land with higher security, and the security process would probably take longer, so that makes sense. But I always figured considering more sails don't decrease wc in space (except if it increases to 30) that more engines don't decrease wc for landings, blockades etc. I suppose the wc formula is more different for ops than deep-space than I thought. The good news is I normally have a slayernz cruiser (so 62 engines) so I have a feeling if its reactors that the scoop wants, its gonna be pretty happy being with me

The new dominator cruiser is awesome. Its the second biggest crew ship thats medium/medium, with carnifex being the biggest. But although carnifex has more crew and slightly more guns, dominator has more sails and a lot more engines, making it a good board ship for board attack and defense as well as ranged combat and ship defense. Its also the biggest crew ship with that many engines. It's like some type of cruiser, but one that could almost dominate enemies in every attack.
