I never actually bothered to change the ship names in the past, except on occasions when I can think of something funny, usually something that reflects what the ship looks like to me, e.g. Dizzy Dog, Green Goblin
Now that we can make custom ships, I'm flying the Almighty Yogscruiser. It's a nice alien hunter that's disguised as a luxury cruise ship. I thought the bright colours would enrage those Aliens that despise all life, but unfortunately seem to be attracting way more Hives than other fun alien ships.
