1. When you use Rearm in the post-victory screen, the Torp count on the defeated ship is not updated. Which might be slightly confusing if you subsequently decide to seize the ship.
2. It's still a bit too easy to use Torps freely, and restock at the expense of your defeated enemy. There was talk of maybe setting a % of Torps that could be salvaged, is that still on the To Do list?

From previous threads I took it that the "quality" of pilfered torps is very low, so have lower chance of actually hitting something. Because I traditionally use torps so rarely and the potentially lower quality, I have taken to ignoring the "Rearm" option and instead shelling out a little cash at the local Cadar shipyard.
Still, I agree, I would like for it to only allow a % of enemy torps to be taken. Some may already be armed and in the tubes so pulling them out could be risky.
Also, you could have a % chance that during transfer, a torp could explode. That could cause crew death and general ship damage. That could be the deterrent factor to doing the "Rearm" option.

Anyway, all those quality bonuses are another thing that is lost when you do a ATK attack vs. ST RPG.
So, in theory, you could loot Torps, then ATK kill ST RPG, and then the torps are as good as the ones you buy (altho, you did just brain wipe the Crew too!)

What ... your crew can actually gain experience? I shouldn't send them on so many one-way Explore missions. As Rex says in Toy Story ... "Now I have Guilt!"

Military officers ought to be able to up the torp quality when you seize them.
The whole invisible quality thing is kind of unnerving. When you're in a star dock, if it's higher rated than your low quality repairs and weapons, you ought to get a toast and an offer to upgrade to decent stuff. Mechanical officers and military officers ought to also let you know.
