Heh, I'd noticed some parallels to Dune too. There's pilots using Spice, the war against AI/thinking machines, the great Houses and trade organizations struggling for power, an order of mystics that are on a millennia long breeding program to create superhumans, and a prophet too! It seems to be mixed with that other game that shall not be named, which has seen a geat fall in technology after war destroyed the homeworld and has genetically engineered space marine brotherhoods with powered armors and very heavy handed tactics for controlling the civilian population when confronted with traitorous cultists. Don't forget, Star Wars also had 'spice', and VERY much had AI/thing machines, as well as syndicates and houses and trade organizations struggling for power. An order of mystics- not so clear on the breeding- personally I just hope the Templar aren't Zentradi clones because I haven't seen any women mentioned. See there is actually very little that is TOTALLY unique. Babylon 5 was essentially Hamlet in space and directed like Hill Street Blues. |

Fallen, I was wondering if there was any way for a thread to exist simultaneously on two boards, or two sections. Since the material applies equally to both games it would be nice to have it here on the TA board as well, in case people only really get into TA and therefore only check this board.
