fallenI know it's still a ways off but the talk about marketing and reviews has me thinking about ST2 and it's eventual icon. Whatever art you decide to use for it needs to be something special. I know it's small but it should be really evocative of the game, an Iconic ship picture or character portrait will not only be an attention grabber once installed but can also help drive installs. Selen on HoS is a perfect example she grabs attention and gives a feel for the game at a glance. ST4X is another very good one and while now quite dated CK is good. By contrast, while the art for ST and BF are both good they tend towards a more generic feel with little dynamic impact. Just my own random thoughts.

xdesperado - thanks for the feedback! We do have another draft BF icon which we are hoping to start A/B testing soon. I love the ST icon, but then again, I drew it  It might benefit from a nice update and re-render to clean it up and make it shinier.

P.s. it's easy to identify that the News section is out of date, because you could say that about almost any part of our web properties. The screenshots for Templar Battleforce at the top of the page are out of date, the list of games under /games uses old icons, etc etc - on and on. We're just two people, and we do our best. |

Would it be possible to implement an aggregator that displays what you guys post to Facebook, Twitter, Patreon, Kickstarter, etc.? You guys are pretty updated on social media, so if there was a simple plugin-like way for you to pull that content into your news section you'd be all set.

Ozwryx - yeah, I was looking for that today -- some Wordpress plugin that just aggregates your Blogger, because our blog is very up to date with news. Probably the biggest thing being, it would take a lot of overhead on our part. Lots of experience in running projects big and small, and I know that bringing on someone new, especially a volunteer, is going to be really costly in hours for us. At the moment, I'd rather find a plugin, or just get around to cutting that part of the site. Looking forward to a redesign some point later when we can afford it and aren't in crunch time on prepping a game's alpha.
