I have all 8 games on my tablet. With CK it is very easy to see which is Elite and which is Free because of the Yellow/Blue CK on the icon. It would be nice if the other games were coloured slightly differently so that I don't keep getting the wrong game. I have now ordered things so that the free is always above the Elite, and that ought to have fixed my problem, but sadly it doesn't seem to have done so.

grävling - we were specifically removing the difference in Free and Elite across all of the games. Cyber Knights was next ...

Because the text sucks up space on the icon to be visual and catch the eyes of new players in the market.
It is unlikely that the mass majority of players would have both free and Elite games on their devices.
I will think about adding another type of visual indicator, but the "CK" and "ST" is something that is not helping us.

Well, since I needed a new launcher anyway to fit more than 4x4 on the homescreens of this tablet, I now am using Apex Launcher. I get 6 x 6 now.  I get to edit the text name of the programs with this launcher, and Age of Pirates is now AoP RPG and AoP Elite also all the others. So I am currently fine with this -- and I have stopped hitting pirates free and templars free which were my great problems. But this leads me to believe you need more colour difference between the two for those as keep both, even if it is only, say the colour of the Narvidian head ... |

I agree with Gravling in that I would prefer some way to delineate between the free/elite versions. I too have both versions on the phone and have to press the icon from memory. I understand you don't want text, but maybe even a gold border around the Elite icon so you can see from a glance the elite version is different |

I will look into some sort of cornering device that continues to use the same silver border. Maybe a little "Free" inset on the free game.

Also, the border thing simply looks better!! ... Or, like with ck, just recolor the TA/ST/AoP writing ... Does look good aswell...
