Don't you think that the bonus payments on job types should only depend on the Knight's profession, not on runners, because it is you they are hiring to do the job. Yes, have a runner skilled in negotiation argue about price, but keep the job bonuses restricted. I wouldn't expect to get cast in a Hollywood Blockbuster, having never acted in my life, just because I know someone who knows Peter Capaldi. Its true that knights are the ones hired, but if I bring a team onboard and one is a smooth talker I'm going to ask that runner to help me get the best price possible, especially if that's why I hired him in the first place. As for the movies, I'm sure that actually happens quite a bit. As the new job adage says, 'It's not what you know, but who you know.'

IMO, if you bring a cybersword to a meeting with your connector, you can say "hey ! Look I have a guy with me that will help me do the job quick and neat. He deserve a part, don't you think ?" The difference with your example is that runners KNOWS the job they are asked (mostly...well after you took care of their xps. Ok ) so it makes sense to both hire them and pay them. Just my POV tho...

My feeling on this is that as a Knight, you gain credibility that you have a Runner who is trained for that job type, and therefore should get the bonus. Basically, you went out and hired the right help, you assembled the right team for this kind of work. As someone interested in paying you to get it done right and done quietly, I will increase my offer for that.

At Back Bay Importers, I get different prices based on who is buying. Is the best negotiator code built into buying and selling yet?
Similar results with buying implants.

Swami - nope, you need to send in the best Negotiator. That's unfortunately impossible with implants. It's on the list!

As it is now yes. Manually pick who you want to Nego and send them into the shop.

Fair enough, it just makes it a 2 step process for the runners upgrades as if they aren't the negotiator, you have to go do compares first with them and then buy with the negotiator. I realize you understand this, and it's on the list. And yes, it is impossible as you stated to send in the negotiator to get implants for someone else.

@op: If I could make a recommendation on a secondary weapon, look for one of the ranged non-lethal pistols. Since the majority of enemies in MnB Tunnels tend to be fleshy, you can do more damage to their brains with the tazer pistol (someone, anyone remember the name of it?) and usually in less shots. Also, doing so will reduce the amount of heat you generate in combat, so you don't have to see any of the really nasty things. Assume that if you are killing things with your big bad gun, Los V will send bigger and badder things to deal with you. Also, this is true for the sandbox as well once you get to the NBZ.

There are a few, but I have to suggest the Blasta gun. You can get it early and cheap and its a great way to drop gangers and even the Yakuza down like flies. Also, they're dog-repellers. Down, boy. DOWN.

DOWN. Pretty much. If you have the AP, you can drop them in one or two shots, and then spend the next turn moving or shooting the next puppy. I sometimes feel bad about zapping the doggy, but then I remember that the twitchy, foamy, flearidden dog from hell is really a dog trying to viciously rip my eyes out, and that I'm doing it a favor.

If nothing else, streets, sidewalks, curbs, gardens and fire hydrants everywhere would thank you for your service. If they could anyway.

I don't know about that. Generally if you taze something the bowels go first. If anything, they would probably be upset.

Okay, maybe not the streets/sidewalks/curbs but everything else should be please.
If they aren't, taze them too.

Except for drones ofc...while having oil on the sidewalks would be a great mess (and I'm amused by the thought of KH falling all over the place because of the drones I just tazed), I think blowing them up with a sniper rifle would be better.
