fallen - I swear the Fennians paid me better at this point on my gunslinger even though this current char is a Face. I just keep getting contracts in the 100 cred range, which makes me feel like I'm forever broke.  It may just I keep having to spend for hotels and taxis so I don't get eaten alive by kh/bs troops. Must... earn... money... As for the factions, I thought they were more like divisions of similar prowess with a tier ladder of sorts (fennian to brave star to mars). At least I won't feel like a traitor if I do some work for kh then.

It has been my experience that the Los Vals pay less than the other gangs, though there are some Streets guys that pay around 1000 to escort people to AzTek zones, so maybe not all gangers are poor.
Anyway, I'd say Yakuza fill the gap between the security companies and the gangs - they've got no drones, putting them below K. Horizon, but they've got very good footsoldiers, putting them above the gangs.

Los V at 60+ rep wanted a delivery mission in bs territory for 250. Fennians (who hate me) gave me about 290 to do the same thing. Sorry LV, but a Knight has to eat. And I have a question- are there any phone connecters for LV besides Vinny the Rat (who offers a pittance for his jobs)? I'd like more options for when I'm on the road than a bottom-feeder (Get it? Rat = scavenger? Eh?). And maybe its just me, but I swear there aren't many LV connecters period- a warehouse, a bar, Vinny and one old man that sits in bars. And like two data couriers mocking my broke bottom. Stop the madness!!  Ps: Forgot to include Anna Dennis the gang connecter. In Commonwealth, she just offered 89 for me to wade into Fennian territory to drop a package in Southie. Upped it via negotiation (lvl 4 or 5) to 133. /headdesk |

At Boston Exporter in Commonwealth you can get some 'kill Yakuza' missions that pay rather well. And, no, there are no more phone connectors, I wish there were, too.

Actually, I started doing work for the Yakuza, Yakashima, and KH, and I'm finally making a profit. I'll do occasional missions for LV to boost my rep, but I'm kinda thinking "Screw ya'll, you cheap (insert expletive)!!"  Side-Arm Gerrin was pretty cool though. I wish she threw out assassin missions.  |

Just completed a major upgraded to the Yakuza for the next update -
30 Rep = 3,500 credits
60 Rep = GX-Mesh Prototype Armor
90 Rep = V-Chip for Tiberius Tuna + 4000 credits
120 Rep = Key to unique Safehouse in Liberty Square (other properties in the area have had their value raised) + 5000 credits to "settle in" to the neighborhood
200 Rep = MT Mongoose Prototype Machine Pistol (wow!)

Hmmm, looking forward to trying out that new pistol. I've got a gunslinger runner, who is getting all crabby because his guns aren't as fun as what my Agent EX and Sniper can use. In other news, worked my way up the BO ladder, well at least up to around 90rp. The text still says that he gives you 1,000 credits at around 60rp, but I believe he did actually give 8,000. Also at 80 Victor actually gives the Savior Med-Kits, not Nano and actually says something like "the only thing better is Nano." Jacob, Safehouse with a phone? I'll +1 that. |

You will find that adding phones to safenhouses has some incredibly low CK ticket number. It's been wished for for a very long time.
