After the last couple failed encounters, I've got to admit I'm starting to really want the stats/rolls for these encounters.
Yes, I realize right now I'm playing on brutal, but with the most recent one.. I must have had a horrendous roll or the like.
'found a bomb'.. ok, always try to defuse these anyway.
Perception 6 and electronics 5. and even a +2 because it was put together by an amateur and still failed for a 3/3 damage HP/MP hit. Oh, and this was in Los V territory, so not exactly the 'hard' area of the overall NBZ either.
Does also make me wonder overall just how the rolls/skills are done.
Hhaving played GURPS, ShadowRun, Cyberpunk, D&D, BattleTech, White Wolf, Paranoia and more (even old Middle-Earth Role Playing), I've seen many ways to do them. But just have to wonder sometimes about how the inner workings go a bit for this game.
