I didn't realise it cost extra AP to move over an already-sprung trap. Having the thief be able to detect traps near by would be useful - a latent ability rather than a talent you have to use periodically. Maybe she does already - I've only just scratched the surface with my testing There is no passive detect ability yet, but it is on our list! Will be am extra reason to raise Security and one of your attributes. Hmm, not sure I understand this one. Are you asking for a passive ability that detects traps automatically? I would much prefer an active ability with an area circle that allows me to detect traps in said area. Something very cheap, because, dude, I'll be spamming that sucker every piece of rock I see. rabid

Any passive ability only provides a % chance of detection. This chance increases slowly with increased "Security" skills. It might start off at 25%, and is capped to max of 75%. It is of course an ability only the thief has.
Other classes might also have passive abilities that could be very useful * Evil shifty eyed wizard might be able to regenerate SP based on intelligence attribute * Outlander might be able to half the AP requirement of his weapon on a particular turn (calculated during the action). * Cleric might be able to detect enemies that are under an effect/curse

Traps versus dexterity versus damage
So far damage is a strait 50. In the future, could higher dexterity play a role in reducing the damage you take from a trap?
