I also have a suggestion: when I select a talent (such as loose) I only want to use the talent, not move. However, if I misclick on a tile next to the monster by accident my character will move there, using up AP and leaving them exposed. Once I've selected a talent would it be possible to only select targets instead of moving? That is actually a really good idea. Is this possible, fallen or Cory Trese?

We've got movement confirmation in the game now and can say that movement confirm fixes this issue. If you try to target the spider and miss, you'll see the movement confirmation glyph. That is a clear sign that you need to wait a half second, move your finger, and really click on the target. The ability to keep your talent selected through a turn and move-use-move-use is critical to style of play, especially for characters like the Thief and Wizard. We will see how everyone feels with MC in and then we can chat on it again!

Roger that, will be interesting to see how move confirmation works.

kind of like overwatch. but more like a penalty of a sort for disengaging one enemy to either run away or go to attack elsewhere. The penalty being a greater reduction in AP for doing it or the opponent gets a free shot at your back while you turn tail. the other part of ZOC would be something similar to Battle for Wesnoth. Walking through the ZOC is the prohibitive part. the ZOC is like glue. Oh I see, more like the attacks of opportunity in D&D 3 / 3.5. You could also use tumbling skills to bypass it, assuming you remember and the GM lets you do that. I favor overwatch, as it is more deliberate, and fits better with general perception mechanics than something passive like zoc or attacks of opportunity. The point is also being able to set the weapon or talent you are using for overwatch, lets you expend the rest of your AP without having it go to waste. Heh, I could have used it just now :-D
