@officergenius If you're able to rehire him, his equipment stays.

If his contract expire (or if dies for that matter ) when you re-hire him he'll get the equipment you left him with. I always have problems with runners I want to turn into allies because I prefer to turn them quickly so I don't spend xps or equipment on them and thus I must run from every fight with people that run like turtles and act slower than snails...quite difficult Try taking only courier jobs to get xps quickly (take the job, get a taxi even if you loose money on it, get directly to the target place and get the xp. Repeat that everywhere you can and you can get lots of xp in short time)

Heh I find the courier missions a bit dangerous when the stop is across the zone from the zone's data port. Especially on streets, yakuza and kh as I've not been nice to them at all. I'll just have to run away screaming if I can then. Big bad cyberknight running and screaming like a preteen girl denied Justin Bieber tickets...

I prefer to think of it more like the scenes in The Matrix where they're always running away from the Agent Smiths.

Officer Genious... What? Where ya got that from?? Sent from my HTC Desire C using proboards A reference to the Matrix- if all the Smiths are after him, he must be 'Mr. Anderson'.

You've never seen The Matrix? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SUCH HERESY?? Just kidding! The first was the best; the others less so, but that's normal for action movies. Definitely worth watching- now I wanna watch it again. >_> And what movie was the quote you posted from?
