Shuttle Use Scenario: You buy a Pride of De Valtos on Devaltos Prime, but want to use it for its 120 cargo storage over on Rychart Prime.
You fly the freighter from De Valtos Prime to Rychart Prime.
At Rychart Prime, you buy a Rychart Shuttle, since it is the cheapest thing there, and fill it up with water fuel.
You fly the shuttle back to De Valtos Prime, where you sell it, and reclaim your main ship.

Here was me taking all these transport passengers contracts thinking I was helping you guys to get back home again... now I find you prefer to buy a new car than take a taxi!
Reminds me of the last ash cloud transport crisis.

Being able to pay for a ride to another urban zone without your ship would be fabulous. You could have 'ship delivery' contracts. Of course, if you don't deliver that Pirate Flagship and just keep it, you're going to get a bounty on your head... Of course, getting stuck with no ship and no cargo could be a game ender.

Game ender...I like that idea! I can see a game over message that says you have been reduced to pimping yourself out in a dirty alley behind a seedier Spice Hall in order to survive without your ship.

At the very least, you could get stuck in a pseudo-jail screen where massive amounts of time pass while you scrimp and save for enough to afford a crappy shuttle? After all, your captain does have some skills.

stealing, spicing, thieving, and knifing are the "misc. skills" Vega lists on his CV
