Hi Trese Brothers, I use a fairly small (by today's standards) screened phone. I have difficulty in seeing all the detail of the 6x6 complete city map (it is mainly the walls that are of interest to me). Would it be feasible to fit/build a (relatively) high res pic of the city into the game? I do have a pic in my phone photo album but it is somewhat tedious to access while playing the game.
With thanks, G.

gyprock - thanks for the post! How small is your phone? Can you post the model? Is your issue that the map goes off the edge of the screen or that ... ? Can you post a screenshots. Helps to know what we are actually trying to fix. Welcome to the forum!

Hi Fallen, I am using a HTC Desire S which has a 3.7" screen. This is the map I have difficulty in seeing: This is the jpeg I have in my phone's photo album but to utilise this I have to escape from the game, open photo album, remember what it is I'm trying to do (this is the hard part lol), go back to game. Would it be feasible/possible/warranted to have a jpeg like that accessible in game? One that could be zoomed in? With thanks, G. (Love the game!)

gyprock - we could possibly do something like putting it in a static web view so that you can just open it from the city map page ("Full Map" button, etc) and it would open a web view like the Rules web view from the main menu. Could you take a look at the Rules user experience and see if that would fit your bill?

We really wanted to include these big JPG in the game, but the Android OS just makes it impossible to do and continue to support all 4500 devices we do.
Heroes of Steel is a clear departure from Android because of all the OS bugs and issues with things like JPG files.
We will do what we can for CK and continue to look forward to a future with less Google-imposed limits!
In Heroes of Steel, you won't need an external file to view the world map on any device =)

ah, HoS.. if only i could get my hands on a device that can go beyond the opening sequence before it crashes maybe next summer but in the meantime Blacksmith the Face-Hacker melee specialist will sow terror in the NBZ..

I think one thing that is really exciting about being part of the TreseBrothers team is that we're still very dedicated to updating Cyber Knights. Andrew and I know it's an older release but we're still dedicated to updating, extending and fixing it. never give up =)

I appreciate it may not be worth your time. I have found that with more experience I am not having to refer to the complete city map as much. That is, I'm not getting lost as often though it would still be great to be able to refer to when I do. With thanks, Gyps.
