I have got a problem with my option settings and prices /collected data from planets/ constantly disappearing after some time not playing the game. Anybody knows why it may happen? It is connected with time not playing the game someway. Captain, ship, cargo, those are untouched, but these settings and data keep on disappearing. When I launch the game it is confirming google checkout before this happens. Why again? I can reproduce this by cleaning memory on level 2, but I do not do this so the phone evidently does it - it would mean that these settings are only in memory or what? Can I prevent this behaviour of my Galaxy S /firmware 2.2.1/ Or can these infos remain stored some way ?

If I understand this question (I might not) I think the answer is -- your task killer is clearing the game's simulation memory. If this was not stored in memory the game would run very, very slowly and it just doesn't work -- so we store it in memory and clear it out as the game's resolution (your Captain's location) adjusts.
I hope that helps. I think the best option is to stop deleting the game's memory?

The problem is I have not installed any task kilker app. Better description is : I start the game, set options and play, then I quit the game, if I start again in 15 minutes or so everything is OK, if I start the game later, options are reseted /background music and toasts as if fresh install/ and prices which were recorded from planets I have visited disappear. But captain progress is OK I do start where I have ended, rumors, status, these are restored OK. The question is, is it standart behaviour? It looks like that options and prices are not stored but captain is stored Ok.

I've noticed that updates seem to reset my pricing info, which to me indicates they're clearing memory.
Is it possible that you've been doing updates when this occurs?
(resetting the phone might do it too, if you're the "shut it off nightly" sort)

Oh, no! It is happening on regular basis after quitting the game and some 15 or more minutes /I do not have the exact time measured, but it depends on time/, untill these pass everything is OK, I start the game and prices and options are restored as they should be. I have noticed that after quitting the game Star traders Elite via Quit button, game is still listed in menu Settings, Applications, Application management, Running /applications/. /I hope they are called so, I have phone in native language./ When it is there and I start it, every piece of data is restored, but after some time it disappears form running applications /which seems logical to me/ but then my options settings and pricelist are gone. I do not switch the phone off. I am not very fond of rooting my phone and flashing new firmware /I have the latest official version from Kies/, but if it could help I may dare to try.

It seems that Factory reset has helped me.

Hrmm.
Fascinating.
Totally beyond my field of expertise, but fascinating. I wonder what it was.

Ok. Options are stored now, still after some time (hours) pricelists from visited planets disappear. (I mean those you could read when you click on comodity picture). But I am still playing. ;)

that is just the economic system timing out the records.
those prices vanish from your screen automatically when they are no longer accurate.
It would not be very helpful to show things that the Captain knows aren't valid anymore =)
