Not sure if this has been tackled yet, but i recall someone commenting in the forums that combat is not an appealing endeavor in the game, as the reward aspect (+1 xp and random loot) does not match the effort put into it both before (getting the right equipment) and during the fight (thinking of ways to maximize AP and surviving). As combat is the primary reason for being of gunslingers and cybetswords, I was thinking they should get more from combat, say an extra xp point at least. So random encounters net them 2xp, and capture or assassinate 4xp.
what do you guys think?

brass - it is something we have looked at a few times, and the reward is unbalanced. Hopefully, we will be able to implement a more balanced approach. Just increasing the reward to 2 XP is still pretty low and I think we'd have the same complaint in a few days.

fallen: I believe brass is referring to the plan to give bonuses to gunslingers for matched pistols.(?)

New thought on gunslinger and cyberswords: "Empty clip" option for guns and "Power swing" for swords. Basically, expend all AP and ammo in one action but guaranteed kill if the blow hits!!! Sorry for being pesky, i just want to help upgrade the appeal of gunslingers and cyberswords in combat

I'm much more interested in cyberpunk style improvements for Face, Agent and Hacker.

I guess they are appealing, in that they can use most of the weapons. I have learned to deal with my concern on poor returns for combat by turning out characters that can just flee from combat hehe.
Ok then, i'm re reading my gibson books and creating a new thread when i get ideas for agent ex and hackers. Thanks!
