When in the inventory, looking at weapons etc, it would be helpful if the items a team member cannot use, were greyed out. This would be even more helpful, if the development added more job types and equipment.

Sigh. I MUST need new glasses. Just noticed the significance of the weapons symbols in the team list. Dohhh!

Glad they helped! There is still more work to do in this area, but those were added a while ago to assist. The most important one is in shops, indicating whether or not a character can use a given item. It's on the roadmap.

It also depends a lot on your screen density, how many pixels we have for padding and displaying the access state.
So ... the question is ... what do we do with this thread? It is a wish list thread for something that already exists -- so it isn't a bug or a wish list?
This is where I use the "falling" to put it out of the cycle even if people post "thank you" or "+1 that also helped me" posts.

I thought maybe I'd upset the "powers that be", and my posts were being discretely "brushed under the carpet'. Lol. It's difficult to say. Most things are just ideas that may or may not be applicable. Getting a UI just right for everyone, is probably near enough impossible. There is a general "standard" of flow, needed with a good UI. Grouping related activities, UI wise, is obviously going to make that flow better. Not that I'm trying to tell you guys your job. You already know this.

Android UI is a tricky set of business.
I learned a lot in the 30 months since CK was designed.
We won't make another game with the CK UI, or one with the Android UX kit.
To the future! =)

@cory. You could just delete my irrelevant posts. I won't rant over it. A suggestion is just... a suggestion.
Thank you.

Guess the thing to remember is that Cory and I read every single new post on the forum. So, we try to encourage forum behavior that allows us to use our time as best as possible (responding to threads that need responses, moving threads along that should be closed but are left for historical searches, and getting back to game development). The forum eats up hours out of every day we do game development, so we try to manage that as best we can.

In a way, my wanting to add, hopefully helpful ideas, is having a detrimental effect. I'll keep the reports going though. Its ironic. I'm.supposed to be working on web animations, and I'm spending FAR too much time, playing CK, and forum posting. We seem to have a similar problem. So I DO understand the pressures and distractions

Just trying to be clear about our forum patterns and why we try to either get a lively discussion going, or quickly classify, record as a bug, and / or discard posts and then move them out of the lime light. Man, I am bad at English sometimes Good luck with the web animations!
