Thanks to Shaun at Touch Arcade for giving us a review! It's an interesting discussion and we are working on many of the points that he mentioned (increased move speed is already available on Android). toucharcade.com/2014/01/13/heroes-of-steel-rpg-review/We hope you will join the comment conversation on the review and give your opinion!

Mixed but unbiased review - I like it for its brutal honesty, and feel that if some (if not all) of the issues mentioned were addressed in some way, he would be inclined to do an update to the review. - Speed between battles (on the improve already)
- Lack of enemy variety (assuming this will change with later episodes)
- Talent shortcuts - yes, the 3 choices is definitely limiting at the moment
- Weak dungeon design (seriously? I thought the dungeons were pretty damned cool myself)
- Inconsistent movement glommed vs non-glommed - I do have to agree here - would prefer to have it like the unglommed - double-tap. That way you know the command to move the party to that location has gone through.

Speed between battles -- 30% increase applied, collecting feedback
Talent shortcuts -- next update starts to add a set of fixes here.
Weak dungeon design -- the next 20 are new and different, hopefully better
Inconsistent movement glommed vs non-glommed -- fixed in next

We spent some hours this afternoon reading the review together and distilling out about 10 things we can immediately take action to improve. Every Review, even a 3 star one, can help us get better.

That's what I love about you two - you don't hide from the negatives- you embrace the feedback and make the game that much better because of it!

Hell.I'm a child of the eighties. Just having a game with the capacity for adnustment and developers who REALLY have respect for their craft and their customers is a novelty I hope I never tire of.
I don't get the weak dungeon thing though. I can see having places that respawn bad guys- didn't see any on my first play through- but the designs themselves were nice and maze-like.

Not a bad review at all. Very clear and detailed. However I really feel like the guy was expecting the next Baldur's Gate right on release date sort of...
Its when you look below the shell that the Trese brothers games truly shine and Heroes Of Steel is no exception.
We all want the next episode and the next character available ASAP but anyone who understand how Trese works KNOWS we will get an amazing product. Perfect game? No. Worried about its future? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

VincentD - agreed, actually the review was quite good and detailed. Helped us focus on a couple of key issues to resolve. Have to take what little media attention you can get!

Well be careful because when the PC version comes out, TotalBiscuit will review it... Oh trust me you won't need to spend hours listening to it to gather his feedback! ;-P

VincentD - who is TotalBiscuit? Does he do mobile games? Go to YouTube and search for "WTF Is...". He reviews PC ports of mobile games but mostly big PC releases, whatever the budget. Well they're not really reviews but with the following he has he can make or break pretty much any indie game he wants. Luckily he is extremely fair and professional in his reviews, I really mean it this guy is the definition of unbiased. You might want to send him a pre-release version before it comes out, he really loves turn-based games.

Lots of views, that's for sure! What I really like about his videos is that you know EXACTLY what the game has to offer and who will enjoy the most due to its gameplay. There's some filler of course but trust me your game needs to be insanely bad for him to utterly destroy it. WTF Is... Garry's Incident
