Thanks. Is critical damage regular damage doubled?

Tried searching in the thread (quite a bit of text to read through to see if asked before) but how does dual weilding and + damage items work? Does it only increase one weapon or both? How does this apply to Torrent of Steel? Also if I attack when I have 1 AP left and hitting with both weapons costs 2 or 3 AP, does the game hit with only the 1 AP weapon or both? And why does walking down stairs (as opposed to walking up) still cost 2 AP? Is it just for consistency?

Damage items modify the damage output of the attack talent used, not the weapon damage.

Attacking with 1AP remaining will only swing the 1AP weapon you have equipped.

Attacking with 1AP remaining will only swing the 1AP weapon you have equipped. To add to En1gma's response, attacking with fewer AP than required for two weapons will try to use the primary weapon only. For example, if you have a 2 AP primary weapon and a 1 AP secondary weapon equipped and you only have 1 AP left you won't be able to attack at all. If you switched hands, you would be able to attack with the 1 AP weapon.

And why does walking down stairs (as opposed to walking up) still cost 2 AP? Is it just for consistency? Stairs, fords, sprung (not disarmed) traps are all considered difficult terrain and always cost 2 AP (down or up). If you move onto them with your last AP, it only costs 1. As said above, +Damage gear modifies the final damage on your weapon(s), not the individual weapon(s). vintoks - Critical damage is a multiplier from 2X to 3.0X the damage, rolled randomly. I added a "Critical Hit" section to the original post, as well as a new bullet in Dual Wielding about this.

Do buffs end at the end of my turn or the start? What I mean is, if my Stone Skin has 1 turn left, is it present when 'evil' is attacking me? Or should I renew it at 1 turn left? Same question applied to debuffs. If I use Ethereal Anguish on the enemy does it's final turn still remove the AP then end? Or does it end at the start of their turn?

If I'm not mistaken, buffs time out at the end of your turn- if you only have one turn left, you won't have that buff once you end your turn.

bowuserthing - buffs time out at the end of the full Turn, meaning your part of it and your enemies' part of it. So, when they attack you, Stone Skin is still on.

fallen question regarding sure parry. After you have used your auto blocks do you lose the + parry + dodge part immediately or at end of turn?

fallen another question. When does the world level? Does it level as soon as one of your characters level? Or after camping after gaining a level?
