Uh, actually, nevermind. I just remembered that multiplication is commutative...

Crit Damage: Is it the case that bonuses to crit damage (+x% crit damage from a weapon) are applied after the D3 has been rolled to determine the crit damage factor? (In other words: Successful critical hit is rolled. D3 is rolled and whatever damage has been calculated using normal damage math is multiplied by 2, 2.5, or 3, depending on that D3 result. Damage after multiplying by that factor is increased by the crit damage bonus.) Yep! Let's say you roll the D3 and get 2.5. If you have +25% Crit Dmg, you end up with a final multiplier of 275% for your Dmg.

Just a quick clarification needed on - evasion since I am using Vraes with heavy armor.
I have a Vraes with 24 strong dodge, -5 evasion, 4 dex, and 3 regular dodge.
My final display of ranged defense lists 19s + 4. It seems that the -5 evasion is subtracted from my strong dodge pool as expected since evasion is a strong dice effect. However, the stat dodge on the display screen also lists -2 (3-5 evasion). Thus, it seems that a negative evasion penalty is applied twice in this case for ranged attacks.
Is that how - evasion is intended? Is it a display bug? Do I understand evasion correctly? Maybe the opening combat text could add a few lines to address evasion specifically?
Edit- My melee defense includes the 3 stat dodge and us not affected by the evasion penalty. So evasion is restricted to Ranged dodge effects only.
My Selen with positive evasion accounts for the added as expected, ie adding to the strong dodge pool for ranged.

Seems like from the edits that this now makes sense. The listing in the OP are correct for how Evasion is summed into Strong Dice for Ranged/Magic only.

So, it is intended to subtract from Ranged defensive dice on both the strong dice pool And the stat related dodge pool? Got it. Not that I expect Vraes to dodge much but this makes it more so I haven’t used heavy armor in so long that the mechanics are new to me.

why force now multiplies the minimum damage by 300% and Willpower only by 150% as before?

why force now multiplies the minimum damage by 300% and Willpower only by 150% as before? The Strength rules were updated to better accommodate the variance in weapon APs. It is on our list to evaluate if Willpower needs the same change.

I think Will needs it. 16 pts for 16 dmg pales, imo, vs accuracy or bonus hp or even bonus sp. I at least never level Will and did not consider Str builds desirable vs Dex builds until the AP multiplier change.
