Hi, Love the game. There is a bug in the latest update though. The list of drydocked ships in Status>Ship shows the speed and agility of your current ship rather than the drydocked ones. Also, it might be a good idea to remove stashes when they become empty rather than let them clutter the stashes list.
All hail Cadar

but the stashes are still there, even if they are empty. empty one out then go try to find a new one on the same planet ;-)

There are no goods left, but there are loads of plastic dividers, magic markers, and stick-on labels left in that cave.

willesnille -- I will investigate these bug reports. Empty Stashes should still have some entry -- they're more resistant to theft the older they are. However, taking up all that space with the list of "0" is silly -- your suggestion makes sense. I will see if I can figure out the part of agility and speed.

Caches are more resistant with age? So it makes sense to stow a unit of water on every single wild planet you visit, just to start the cache age counter?

nope it doesn't work like that. there is a criteria. a secret criteria =)

the age counter is "ticked" when a lot of stuff is loaded or unloaded, but also when large (compared to "planet size" which is just a total of all the attributes) stores are left for long (years, 101+ turns)

So...I should cache most of my fuel, explore, cache a big chunk of artifacts, load up all my fuel, cache it, explore, repeat.
When I run an explorer, I tend to do a lot of loading and offloading into wild caches, but of course, they have good cache protection anyway, don't they?
