Hoping to back-port magical staves soon. Definitely need more Staves! Karjtan currently has the only decent one I've managed to aquire so far, but my build of Kyera just begs for a decent Staff that boosts her SP and accuracy on Holy Retribution.

1-h staves or 1-h want that give magical boosts but allow her a shield. Ohh... on that wish list idea, how about dual wielding 1-h wands for the wizard classes?

To get the points you need to balance out a solid weapon, you want to use the 2-hand formula. Otherwise, nope -- the current plan is just too awesome to change.

Cory Trese that's a mean and nasty tease! Love both those and could really use them. Question is the Staff I got from Lady Strom the only one currently in game? Working my way through the lizard hoards currently so...

Something that is interesting to watch unfold is the dynamic between the designers that have the bigger picture in mind (and obviously the inside track on how the game will unfold) and the players that have the immediate picture in front of them. It's a solid game and more episodes will only add to the enjoyment of the game, esp if the developers find ways to keep it fresh and interesting, which it seems the case. As much as the players, myself included, will moan if a party geared to EP1 struggles in EP2 for a bit, we'll do it joyfully because adapting and adjusting is part of the fun.

vdx - just took another one of my groups through that very process. The territory I was fighting in has new monster AI and I had my butt handed to me for a while ... and finally feel like I am turning the tide on them as I near the stronghold! xdesperado - yes, it is in fact the only magical staff in the game. Sorry, will remedy that soon.

Right but to get the game's design database to give you an item with those SP bonuses it requires inputs and the one that will score you the most worthwhile points, and access to the upper level effects, is the 2H slot. I'm saying that we won't add because it wouldn't be as good, as fun or as on-point for the game design -- those two examples are just two of dozens of options, all built out from that game design database (like all the other things in the game.)
