Update: I tried ST IAP to unlock and it works. The HoS purchase of EP2 (after working once) still gives the "A problem occurred configuring Google Play In-Ap Billing"

Swami - I've gotten a few emails on the subject, and a Settings > Apps > Google Play > Clear Cache has so far had a 100% fix rate.

You are saying that you go back into the store and it shows as not purchased and when you try to purchase again, it gives you this fail message? Try to restart your device.

fallen I go back into the Store in HoS and it shows as not purchased.

Troubleshooting steps taken so far:

1) Restarted device multiple times
2) Cleared Google Play Services Cache and Data
3) Cleared Google Play Cache and Data
4) Cleared Download Manager Cache and Data
5) Uninstalled and Re-installed Heroes of Steel(Titanium backup restored my data only and the purchase didn't work even before I restored data.)
6) Removed and recreated my Google account on the device.
7) Tested IAPs by buying the Full Unlock in ST(which worked flawlessly.)
Unfortunately, it still shows in HoS that the purchase did not occur. Of course, Google shows that I purchased E2 yesterday and my receipt is timed 8:43pm central.

Can you process a refund and I can try to buy again?

Uhoh, one of my NM groups was enjoying the fresh air up on the roof, I'll have to see if they are in trouble....now let me go see if Amazon has it up yet.

Nope, not yet, which means I still have time to work on my Call of Cthullu:Wasted Land pistolero party. 

For those interested: the Rambo (all MG) party stinks and the Country Boy (all shotgun) stinks.  Which leaves me the all rifle and all melee parties to try. 

Nope, I don't use any of the filthy magic in CoC:WL, so I'm not going to have that party.  I'll note that MGs really, really stink, I hadn't noticed it so much before because my the psych was my MG babe, so she spent a lot of time fixing Sanity rather than laying down needed firepower, rather she was just some fun extra damage potential.

Swami - thanks for the full list of things you tried. I still don't understand. Can you play into E2?

No, during the Barnett conversation(I had purchased directly from the Main Menu>Store option) where I tell him I have to go, he sends me back to a Buy screen.

I have two groups waiting, so one can scout for the other ....and if you do this right, I'll have to start a couple more from the beginning...

Duh, Amazon is still being slow, so before the update hits I just log on & move them off the roof.

Sure enough, by the time E2 came out I had forgotten who he was so when I began again I tapped his tent just wrong enough that I thought it was an empty tent and tried to find someone/him downstairs. Hence my being "trapped" *facepalm*

You do realize telling us not to go some where convinces us that's where the super-secret, super-awesome chest is hidden. You know the one containing the Holy Hand Grenade, the Arquebus of Terror or the Staff of Cthulhu....  But I'll try not to break the game any more.
