Then you likely know the comment I'm indirect referring to: expecting a free dinner and a free dessert is worse.

The nice thing about free demos is that it allows a try-before-you-buy option. I'm more inclined to give a chance if it has such an option (there are some bad game sot there that I wish I could return, so to speak).  And the wording about the prologue being free with fees for episode installments is pretty clear.
