As difficulties get harder especially, both with tougher units, and more of them, the 1 xp per person for surviving.. Especially if it's a kill-all survival, seems rather empty. I know this has been brought up before. I can easily understand 1xp if you flee.. you simply didn't engage. Or perhaps an assassination, as you took out the one guy, then skedaddled. But if you get caught in an area that's hard to flee, or especially with runners who manage to survive (that's the hardest part.. the CK lives, the runners fry), the 1 xp is just hollow, almost worthless, especially when you're working to the 50+ to get them to be an ally, or just get their skills higher to start. It's especially painful when you have a solid CK, and try to add in a Martial Artist or Sniper, and your luck flops while trying to get them skilled up.
Considering the 'levels' of units that come after you do increase depending on total XP (I think?), perhaps simply some kind of averaged value. Or simply an overall value for the encounter and use that?

Alex Fury - harder difficulty combats will have the chance of granting more XP in the next release - up to 3 maximum possible for the hardest fights. Each XP point is rolled separately against a character's DV rating.

Alex Fury - thanks. Hopefully it will help especially with low XP / low DV Runners who join a more powerful Knight.
