I am a stalwart member of the Federation of Kaihmer.
We are in a state of Total War with the worthless Rueslanders.
Consequently, I took a Commision to destroy one of their ships.
Meanwhile the Octopon Trading Company -- with whom we are in a state of Commerce raiding -- is also becoming right-thinking about those Rueslanders, and are in a state of Blood Feud with them.
I went and killed the Rueslander scum. I got told that I struck a blow against Ruesland. (True, but I think of it as _for_ Kaihmer). But then I was told that I entered the Blood Feud on the side of Ruesland, or something like that. It should have been on the side of Octopon.
