I'm looking forward to the 4xx game, where everything is just starting out and going to hell in a handbasket.  Fixed! The current starting planet for indys doesn't even have sufficient water fuel at the exchange, let alone smut available contracts, repairs or upgrades. Could you increase the planetary ratings a tad or change the starting planet to one with a better urban zone? There are several fringe planets in the upper left quadrant with better ratings (and hence sufficient water fuel, absolute contracts, repairs, upgrades etc)?
Also, you know how the components of sold ships and repairs are of much worse quality at indys? Could you make it so that if youre an Indy, repairs and ships at Indy planets are of the same quality as faction planets, such that its planetary ratings driving quality, not independence?

For the new difficulty, you start with an escape shuttle, 2 units of fuel, and the ship's audio system plays Kenny G on loop. It cannot be deactivated, and volume is stuck at 11 preventing sleep. You arrive at the first planet only for the first mate to say "I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that your father wasn't actually a Cadar captain. He was actually born and raised on Xeen Prime" ... nooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ....."Oh....and the Trade Halls, run out of fresh KITTY LITTER".  and the whole quadrant is ruled by dogs |
