This game seems to be an apt and wonderful mobile version of a game I dearly love for the computer. Unfortunately the name escapes me. Fortunately though, this apparently has the potential For many hours of gameplay.
I'd like to be able to conquer planets in the name of my empire, or hold it for ransom. Pirate planets are cool for an idea too. I'd like to see why I can't upgrade something on my ship, as well as maybe a little picture/wireframe of it, like win a few empty torpedo pods or cracked solar sails that need fixin. I got loads more ideas, as do all the people here. I wish I could help!

Sequel? I'd like to get elite, but I might hold off if there's going to be a whole new game coming out... I dunno.

It wont be for a long time. And you don't have elite? May Cadar always ruin your day.

$1.99... Best money i ever spent. If he makes a version for the google browser, i'd spend it again. Sequel ckmes out the next day, i'm buyin that too.
The sequel is going to be a different game, different scope.

Does it change the current star map that I'm currently used to?

Hmmmm. Interesting. The small star map is like what, 30x30? How big you reckon the elite is?

the RPG map is like 22 and the elite map is 48
there are 110 more ships, 50 more planets the maximum level is raised from 23 to 1000000000000
also, i get to buy more coffee, andrew buys more pencils and you get Exp faster, plus there are elite only upgrades AND you can make copies of a captain =)

Also, notably the star map that you know in free is the back-water, out-of-the-way corner of the Quadrant. Some of the sections of the full Elite map contain planets with immense navies, economies, and possibilities. And so many more planets to Explore (ie. sacrifice your crew to alien)!
