Yes, Tam has an excellent pure dmg AoE in ranged onslaught combined with better ranged acc and crits vis DI (deadly intuition). RO has decent AoE even at lvl 1. Tam's ap/dodge/res curse ToS (torrent of steel) also has potential AoE but is throwing knife based.
Selen is tankier with QsD vs BN (black night), better armor curser with PB vs SS (silent stalker), has a parry curse and better range with her ap curse.
Tam has better dmg at range, curses 2ap max instead of one and has res (ToS) and acc (SS) curses.
check out the player guides in the tips and techniques board for details on all characters and their talents.

achilles73 At campsites in which you can train, you can see each talent in detail including what each does at level 1-10. Very useful to understand each talent. Also, each character has a thread in the players guide thread that has a table of all talents. Great for long term planning. Many talents get AoE bonuses at at certain talent levels. That is why people take pinning shot to 5 or 8 typically

That is why people take pinning shot to 5 or 8 typically I know; but not every description is crystal clear Speaking of campsites and inns, do you score even when resting at inns and not campsites? P.S. I won Gholla. I burnt through so many scrolls and pots through - especially in trying to understand the fight. I did it mainly because someone said that there are triggers and that it's okay to kill melees. So I only took ranged and casters down to low HP but didn't kill them off. And when the reinforcements came, I was able to get rid of them instantly. Kincaid tanked the big Orc alone for the entire fight with ease. I am disappointed that I did not get any awesome reward though. Finally, what level am I supposed to be around once I am done with episode 2?

Level will vary as you can avoid a lot of episode 2 if you want. If you do all content then you should be level 30-31 by the time you transition to episode 3.

Also, are resists worth getting? And how much is needed? I keep getting cursed, which means I have to burn scrolls or waste 3 APs on Kyera.

So frustrated. I am level 27, and I am using the same daggers on both Kincaid and Selen I looted at around level 20. (Keen Sai Sword with Lightning +12 damage.) I need an upgrade

I had a rather easy time in the Underforge, as I was there at level 26-27, and the mobs 23-25. But now I am suddenly back to reality with on-level mobs and unable to hit anything. So I guess I will have to either go Flanking Unity and/or Energy Storm? Also, I should really write my separate thread describing my set-up and ask for help there. But people have written such elaborate, literary works on their group configuration and adventures that I feel intimidated in trying to emulate them

Don't get intimidated! Some of us (cough-- me) get too into this game. This is where we post our builds, so feel free to post it here

And it will help you guys understand more precisely what problems I may be running into - rather than just typing short, disjointed complaints. It began as modified Tap Dancers (with initially the only difference between Kincaid substituting for Vrase). But now it is very different from the original template, and I may have to depart from it yet further. Anyways, I will post something after lunch probably.

OMG, Spectres have 69 armor AFTER eating all my curses. Jesus. I am so glad I brought Kyera as a nuker.

Magical damage stacking on gear: Focus or variety? That is, is it better to focus on one type (e.g. Lightening if you have Thundering Blades) or one of different kinds for balance? I am thinking since low magical damage will be cancelled out by resistances anyways, there is not a point in having, say, 10 Fire damage, no?
