Kyera can't wear heavy armor. Edict is light armor. Oh, oops! Ok.

My game always bugs out at Gholla so I have never seen the edict plate ; ; (3 games that is has bugged out on so far). I approach the temple, it clicks, updates the quest before I can click on the door then the quest updates to the option of Hagathrun living despite me killing him and I get no items or talk options.

Can I access this quest even if I fought under the Koda banner?

The only requirement that I know of is completing Gholla Outlook. I would imagine the story changes based on your interaction in the Temple of Law but as the quest bugs out for me every time I cannot tell you what that difference is.

You can always go to Gholla Outlook and finish the quest. Does not matter which banner you chose.

Anything I can do to help, just let me know. If you have talent/skill/attribute info and any specific questions bring em here and we can get to work They're a crazy gang, and that group tears the Underdeep a new bunghole. I'm glad you're enjoying them!

I am thinking of doing another "normal" run with a different group: Vrase/Fyona/Kjarten/Selen (I am wary of trying Tamlin, because I think I need Selen as a 2nd tank). Can people suggest group or individual builds involving these charactgers?
In particular, two things:
First, I want a Vrase build that will be a huge damage dealer, while still retaining good survivability. Would a Dex-based dual wielder work best in this context for Vrase? And what kind of SP drain numbers do I need for high level Ferocity to work? Would 20 percent be enough?
Second, how do I do enough AP reduction with this group? I have neither Kyera and Vincent's 2 AP ranged curse. And isn't Fyona's 2 AP curse melee-based?

Don't bother with Dex Vraes. STR will always be better for damage, IMO.
I've had great success with using Pinning Shot exclusively to curse AP, so on normal I'd say it's worth a shot, though late game will be a challenge.
If you're not running Kyera, then don't bother bringing FEROCITY past 1, or using it at all. The devotion you will need in SP drain will just be too steep until late E3. Look into Berserk Rage and Maces to raise damage, just don't let it outpace your defense.

On curses, so you are basically saying you need to run either Kyera or Vincent to get high-diffculty content due to their ranged - AP 2 curse?

4 characters provide very competitive ranged AP curses (Tamilin, Selen, Vincent, Kyera). My latest Ironman run with 0 deaths relies on Tamilin only to AP curse. Clearly, I'm not at the top of the ladder, but I'm chugging along, deep in E2.

Late game is a challenge no matter what So long as you keep an eye on your 3-4 AP mobs who can do the most damage (berserks, summoners, Deathkin, skeletal swordsmen, etc), and focus on either isolating them or bringing them down first, then it's business as usual. By late game, if you're using Fyona and have invested in Reckoning, it's AoE AP effect will help immensely when it comes to those high AP mobs as well. This group has great synergy, and is one of my favorite sets. Vraes can either go damage, even 2h if you need it, and having two shield tanks can go a long way into the game as a defensive core, while KJ and Selen fire over them.

I have decided my next group will be a modified version of your Electrickening group, and the biggest concern I have is losing Kyera's Banishment and 2 AP curse actually. I assume Fyona's group damage boost will be far superior to Kyera's Banishment in terms of aggregate group damage against most mobs: But will this be true in the City of the Dead as well? The City of the Dead is, after all, a huge part of the game. And isn't Reckoning melee? So in order to use it: 1) I have to use to actually hit with my melee attacks; and 2) I will have to put Fyona in harm's way. Also, I assume Vrase and Kincaid can be interchangeable with this group? Finally, can you post end-game talent choices (and some gear, if possible) for this group? I know you posted the details, but that was mid-game details, if I recall.

Don't bother with Dex Vraes. STR will always be better for damage, IMO. DEX will be better for everything else. So this is not a simple decision.
