matrim - This play through was on Normal. I just started a Nightmare game. I'm keeping Vraes and Fyona, but swapped Tami and Kjartan for Selen and Vincent. My plan is to play Vraes the same way, but make Fyona a Strickening queen per your suggestion. We'll see how things hold up in Nightmare, but I feel that the key tenets for maintaining a viable 2H Vraes is keeping enemy AP nerfed (which I realize is a no-brainer), giving him as much +Parry/+Dodge gear as possible, and not letting him be the only tank. It's not necessarily sheltering him, but he just can't always be the sole focus of all enemy attacks. crimsonking - That makes perfect sense about Juggernaut and was pretty much the conclusion that I came to. Considering that I'm pretty bad at intentionally queuing enemies up for someone else to make the kill (see my issues trying to get Kjartan kills so that he can collect the bonus XP), Juggernaut is probably never going to be my cup of tea.

I advice against replacing Tam with Selen. Tam has a 1AP attack power that further debuffs Resistance, which greatly synergizes with Strickening and Sundering, plus it frees up talent points on Vincent because he would usually put points into Flash Freeze for 2AP debuffs.

Yeah, I've actually been thinking about that as I'm playing into Oskahold. I'll see how far I get until my 1st death and then, perhaps reboot with Tami back in place. Or, just play a game with Kincaid, Selen, Vincent, and Kyera since that's the foursome combination that's the complete opposite of my last full playthrough. Ha, the beauty of this game. So many options...

That (KVKS) would be the group combo I have the least idea of where I would go with them due to my usual play style preferences.

Also. Is KVKT (bow) even viable? Or is that straight up masochistic?

IMHO the original four is one of the hardest teams to play through the game on nightmare. Tam and Kjartan are glass cannons, Kyera is significantly more fragile than Fyona and needs a lot of investment to work well as an off tank.

That depends, how do you view them… as glass or as cannons

Brain overload trying to read all of these posts. Particularly looking for a viable vvfs build for personal reasons. Vraes seems the more typical d&d party member than Kincaid. Vincent is my Grandfathers name. I always have a paladin in my group. And I like selen for her name and class name over thief.
Thinking This isn’t an optimal party, but dying to make it work. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
