contributor - you'll adjust fast and never look back. I did, and once I had, seeing the old speed was jarring.

Looks like it's time for me to head on home. I've been waiting for it to go live on Steam. Prepare for more money incoming.

Spiders that actually skitter.
Only down side, can't slow down in time for missed traps!

Wow, I'm still adjusting. Finding that it feels a little manic to me right now, but with a little time it will probably be fine. Definitely like it on the walks back to camp. Put away your scissors!

Ok, but I don't think I'm going to convince Vraes to stop running with poky sticks. At least now he can really "Charge!"

No one has any comments on the media remixing?

Didn't play for long last night, and I probably didn't have the sound up. What's changed?

Just downloaded the update from IGS, it fixed the bug. Speed is crazy, just turned the music back on so I'll get ya some feedback Cory. Edit: Just cleared out the first lair of the temple, the combat speed makes the game feel so much more refined, I absolutely love it. And yes, Cory Trese, I can totally hear the difference in the music now. I can hear out of my left speaker a subtle almost drum like beat to the combat music that gives it depth in stereo. The combat was so much faster with the speed increase it feels like a totally different game. Well done fellas!

Outsider - thanks! I think it takes T-minus 5 minutes to get used to the new speed and you'll be very, very happy The sound was all remixed and re-tuned. This also helped us lop a good deal of size off the install packages on some platforms.

Amazon has it. On the sound, I don't use it since it just kills my battery life. Sorry.

About the sound- I hadn't noticed that it was different, but only because I wasn't hearing the skips and random starts- good music in games is seamless and from what I've seen so far, it is spot on!

I noticed the speed change and woah nelly! They were fair scudding across the maps! It is both great and, as contributor said, a little manic at the same time. I know for me I would like to see slow movement over unexplored areas, and fast movement over already-traipsed areas, but that's just being fussy. Overall though, it's very nice.

slayernz - you'll get used to it. We considered and looked at the "push this button to go fast" option, but it ended up that you'd be pushing it all the time. And, really, what you want is a faster overall game experience. The monsters move faster, the cinematic scenes mover faster, ... you're hour count to reach Vurnak just took a massive hit. This is a very good thing for replayability!
