Can you display water consumption for orbital ops (patrols, blockades, surveillence) in the menu and ship designer? I'm a military officer and for me, orbit consumption will be more important than deep space consumption when designing a ship.

I can try but I suspect it's redundant for 99% of the players, and might cause confusion for people who are focused on normal red/green and don't mind the 15% variance you'll find between orbit types.
Right? I mean, you have to see the non-logic of adding even more subtle variable numbers to the UI, right?

I mean, it's just a "landing/blockade" consumption display, only because it seems like the consumption for orbital ops seem different compared to space travel. For example, pilot seems to play zero role in red sector orbit and speed/agility plays less of a role.
Its fine if you don't want to add it, but can you at least tell me the difference between space and orbit consumption dice? There are clear differences but I can't seem to find anything about it throughout the forum

I think I have seen something along the lines that just bonus from sails is not included in consumption for orbital ops. I would also like to see this included, it is significant difference on Impossible difficulty. Of course proper labeling, so it would not confuse anyone, is necessary.

I can see adding it to the orbital ops page.

I have to say I like this idea. Been many a time where I have nearly 0.0 W/C use in green, but blow through it with surveillance and the like type ops. Or just lifting-off and landing.

Looks like I'm not the only one who likes the idea

Looks like I'm not the only one who likes the idea I would have done it for just one of you
