I just accidently spent 50k on a pardon I didn't want... and last game surrendered to a ship about half my size. Would it be possible for some of the buttons that can have large negative consequences have confirmations?

I can add a confirmation button to Pardon.
I am pretty certain that surrender already has one, but I can double check.

Thanks! Appreciate it, its small changes but very nice ones. I will double check on the surrender, it might be that the start of battle has confirmation and the in battle doesn't
For the pardon one you could have fun with it...

Dyinv is sometbing u get used to. I am playing my first captain on crazy to make it past lvl 8. I play every move expecting the proverbial hammer to drop and he dies. If i had a nickel for every captain who died for every wrkng buttkn press or dumb action took for lack of knowledge, i'd have my $1.99 back  |

Surrender definitely has a confirmation, along with Ramming. I know cos I've mashed the Torp button a few times and hit Surrender by accident.
Having confirmation on each of the palace things (trade permit, death warrant, Rank, Pardon) would all be great. It'd be useful to see
"Do you want to purchase a trade permit. It will cost %1" type alerts. If you don't scroll down, you sometimes miss the price of things like promotions.
Also, it'd be nice to be able to get all of your promotions out of the way at once. If you're rank 1, and have 600 RP with that faction, it'd be nice if they offered you a one-off $150,000 to go to Rank 18. Feels funny having to pay for your own ceremony though - after all, they are the ones who think so highly of you <grin>

I appreciate the Pardon being added, I think the surrender was just me being way to tired when I was playing, because I can't duplicate it
