This thread is just for ridiculous, awesome, or just plain weird dreams you wish to share. I dreamed that I was watching an even more dragged out and melodramatic version of Dragonball Z; only in the art style of Ren & Stimpy. First time I can think of where I woke up desperately looking for the remote.

Someone needs to make that happen! I had a dream once where someone kept rolling this 12ft high globe of Earth after me like some sick real-life version of Katamari Damachi. I woke up in terror, heart racing and wide-eyed and everything. Then I thought, 'Wait, wtf was that about??'. The end.

Looking at some very confused comments... where do you even find this stuff? O.o I have existed from the morning of the world and I shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although I have taken the form of Gaius Caligula, I am all men as I am no man and therefore I am... a freaking weirdo.... Seriously though, the "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" tag reminded me of that scene from Mystery Science Theater 3000- one of my favorite all time TV shows.

I had a dream in which I was coordinating the Avengers - most awesome dream ever. I was a SHIELD agent, the Chitauri were attacking a compound we were in - I think someone was tapping our comms, as I had everything on paper and had to run between the Avengers' positions to relay information. I could see Hulk and Black Widow fighting in a corridor on the other side of the compound to where I had my intel, Iron Man and Hawkeye were on the roof, Thor and Cap were on the ground outside (the compound was a horseshoe shape - they were in the central area).

The nominee presenter on the right, looks like a mechanical version of Gonzo, out of the Muppets. Lolz. Errr... or does it look like something from Sesame Street? I dunno.

You know. The REALLY FREAKY dreams, where you suddenly wake up, at the last minute, and you can STILL hear the sound of the uknown THING, that was chasing you, and then you realise it's some real noise, outside.
Or... You wake up from a NIGHTMARE, before it gets REALLY BAD. Sigh with relief......
AND THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES!!! Because you only DREAMT, that you had woken up!!!
Screeeaaaammm! <Heart beat sounds>.

I have PTSD, you don'twant to hear about the nightmares coming from that. Is it therapeutic, talking about dreams? I got into, interpreting my own dreams, and found it helped make things less "weird". I was homeless for a while, after some pretty rubbish events. Only started dreaming heavily, night after night, once I gained my new home, and had somewhere quiet and safe, to sleep. A lot of the dreams, involved large windows, with inadequately sized, or torn curtains. Normally a sign of feeling vulnerable and exposed, or that I'm volunteering too much about myself, to people who are not suitable, (too much transparency, and honesty, to people who abuse the info. NOT good). I'm sorry you suffer from PTSD dayan. I had "night terrors", as a child.

I never had night terrors, but having read about them they seem about as rough. I don't imagine kids have to clear the house with a shotgun before going back to bed, but maybe a nightlight is just as handy to a kid.

My parents used to leave the landing light on, for me and my Brother. But of course, some of the dreams, involved me lying in bed, in the room, and the landing light on. Then something weird happens. Some dreams were just SO real, but the human brain glosses over inconsistences and the impossible in dreams, so near enough anything can seem real, in sleep. I think I remember reading, that our minds can't truly distinguish between, reality and imagination, at the basic level. I suppose a good thing to learn, is to take control, of your dreams. Lucid dreaming?
