Sorry, we can't hand out the Amazon APKs. They sign them specially, so you'd have to uninstall the old game and in that case, you should just install GPlay.
We keep working with them, posting forum threads and emails every day.

@brutus - agreed, but we can't give you a signed Amazon APK.
Because they sign it.

I was thinking about sending a letter, but I don't know who to even yell at. I don't want to harass the one person that seems to be on the development board... I need to find the head of support development.

In Star Traders, on your Kindle, does the Menu work? The Options Menu, when you press the 3 dots.
Amazon has rejected the past 5 updates saying that it doesn't work on the Kindle Fire OS. I have the device, it works for me.
We've been in a battle with them almost daily but they are in charge and I'm just some no-name developer with a APK marked as "Reject"

The only time I really have issues with any games is when I pull down the overhead menu (with wireless settings, volume control, etc) and lock the screen. The game won't respond until I either shutdown and come back or press a button that uses the Kindle' s pop ups (like selecting Navigation via Factions, coming up with Amazon's own menu style). Kinda hard to explain, but it's hardly a major issue (and likely Kindle' s own fault for not liking games running when the screen is locked...). I'll let you know if it comes up again, but if need me I'd be more than happy to (alongside other Kindlers) sent emails asking (NICELY!) that the updates be allowed to pass. Or a petition if need be.

Amazon needs to be careful. The more difficult they make things the more sense it makes to flash a new ROM on their discount device and just go with Google Play. I'm assuming that's still possible.

We are working daily to resolve the issue. We have published to Amazon for almost 4 years without an issue. Suddenly, brick wall. Thankfully, its only Star Traders

Real talk. I bought the amazon version and got the ship designer iap. Did i choose the wrong one? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk Amazon can be behind updates for all games by up to a week and a half, but most typically 2 or 3 days behind Google Play users. For whatever reason, Amazon refused to update past ST v5.5.13. Getting in touch with their developer support is problematic and apparently a long-running issue (among other things like playing with app prices without telling/caring what developers want), but until now they haven't given Trese Bros many problems except a few days to check and upload new updates. I'm hoping that this gets resolved quickly, but my opinion of Amazon may never recover.
