What if, when we're in an encounter with a friendly faction, we could simply raise our hands and say ''Alright, sorry for causing trouble. I'll give up. I know you can't kill me, I'm too good for your employer to murder me.'' Maybe the success chance of that operation could be tied to the zone Rep? Maybe with a bit of math, for example... 200 Rep = 100% success rate. As it takes quite a bit to get to that, I thought it'd be a good cap. That would be the cap for normal diff, obviously. Basic Diff Cap = 175 Normal D. C. = 200 Hard D. C. = 300 Etc... What ya say about it? Sent from my HTC Desire C with Tapatalk...

PS: Maybe raise your skills so the locals don't think they can off you for bonus points with the Faction.
All they have to say is "That CK was betraying us" and well, it was probably true. CK are not to be trusted.
