Hey, just refining a discussion from the update boards.
What if Agent EX gained an ability to dual-wield machine pistols? Given their lower penetration and damage of machine pistols, it may just work. Or maybe just a better chance of dodging given their high Athletics. IDKHELPMEDECIDE!!

(1) I took the liberty of editing your title to expand the post. (2) I'd love more suggestions on both Agent EX and Face.
Face - ... suggestions are in for both "MP damage to humans" or "AP damage to humans" kind of moves. Both sound pretty good, I currently like MP damage best.
Agent EX - ... suggestions are in for a high Athletics defensive move, but this doesn't match all the other talents. Some sort of special attack against Drones (for damage, not AP damage) would be awesome. Or a Burst Fire with machine pistols could be very sweet (not sure that I want to force the "hold two exact ones" -- that is GS).

For the Face, maybe it could be either one depending on whether your Intimidation is higher or lower than your Negotiation (my thought is that you could either smooth-talk them into doubting their chances in the fight (MP), or just intimidate them into not attacking (AP)) - could get confusing, but it's the first thing that came into my head.
Not sure about what would suit Agent EX - I'll think on that.

Jamozk Ekhiss - I had the same ideas about making it either Nego / Intim based on which was higher. I like your idea of making the result different!

Honestly, I don't think Agents really need a defensive boost-- with some dodge stuff equipped, they tend to be the real butt-kickers on my team very early on. A burst-fire from machine pistols sounds awesome though! I always imagined Agent EXes like Matrix-type enemies-- looking sweet in suits and doing crazy acrobatics. So burst-fire fits that image for me. I like Jamozk's idea on Faces-- a high charm for a drop in enemy accuracy and maybe a high intimidation skill could do bonus damage to human MP? Just an alternative twist.

Personally, I always considered AgentEX As "cyber-ninjas", both highly acrobatic and matrix-oriented... but also stealthy. And dual machine-gun wielding does not enter my definition of "stealth". I think they should get a "dodgy skill", like using some kind of smokescreen or optical camo generator to flee based on your stealth no matter where your enemies are, or the ability to try to assassinate a target (put HP to 0 no matter what the target's health was in the beginning) in hand-to-hand combat. I always pictured them doing either jobs where they had to be virtually invisible or challenging snipers for assassination jobs, like "Target in sight... OH WHAT THE HECK, a guy just got out of nowhere and snapped his neck ! What the...". I do not know if this is their actual definition but that's what I understood of it.
For the Faces, they deal in silvertonguing and intimidation, so I think that some kind of long-range Dissuasion skill, based on your intimidation or negotiation according to what is the highest and consuming all your APs, that would roll a dice to see if your target gives up the fight or not (he would simply flee if it works and would work better the lesser MP he has left as his will would be dulled) would be the best choice. I do not see why rhetoric would bring down MP and make your target easier to stun, really. And for the AP reduction, it has already been done but in melee, not at long range so it could be an easier alternative, it's up to you.

Just had an idea for AgentEX going off the stat-dependent ability thing - if Electronics is higher than Athletics they can do MP damage (overloading implants), and if Athletics is higher, then HP (moving to quickly neutralise a target).

I think a special dodge and counter attack would be cool for the Agent EX class. I have wondered about them for awhile since the skill they get a max of 16 is athletics but they're described as being very good with all electronics.
Another dodge ability that might be good is for a successful dodge, you move out of range of the enemy.

Maybe something like:
"Overdrive: Take an additional turn regardless of opponent's initiative, at the cost of your MP".
Kinda like a disorienting adrenaline rush... you move extremely fast but then throw up... a successful Athletics+Body+Mind (at a high number of successes) could prevent MP loss. This check represents conditioning.

I like ntsheep 's counter attack idea ; if you successfully doge a melee attack, you could have a free (or low AP cost) attack opportunity if you are also equipped for hand-to-hand combat.

In my opinion, Agent Exes might be good against snipers but I fully chromed, maxed stats gunslinger would probably shoot their ass (My set up is the infiltrator suit with lit fist and mongoose, with all the implants I can get. I play free)

bullgod Well, we're not here to compare our CKs, are we ? Even if the double wielding perk makes Gunslingers a lot more efficient. By the way, if you can get your hands on Elite version, it is really worth its price, contrary to most mobile games on the market. Do you have any opinion or idea about the perks AgentEx and Faces could get ?

I play free) I love having Agent EX runners as bodyguards (like having Morpheous as your wingman!), and I've found them to be pretty much untouchable fairly early on to all but other Agents and if one actually gets close enough melee combatants. They specialize in Athletics, which means more shots fired and being able to zip all over the battlefield (what, I was on the other side of the building? Yeah, but now I'm here. Surprise, sucka!!). Put points in dexterity as well (and since they use the same main stat, it also goes up quite fast) and you have Neo/the One simply shooting everything and everyone. And yes, I'd buy the full version and I'm very happy with it (gets more game time than my console games do), but the choice is yours and we're just happy to talk strategy here anyway.

I would get the elite but I don't have a credit or debt card...
I never really used Agent Exes, probably because I don't know how the runner system works in the free. But if they're as good as you say, I'll have a look into them.
I don't know much about Faces or Agent Exes because I haven't played them so I can't say

bullgod - you have have 1 Runner join your team at a time in free. Elite allows 3.
