I don't have all the unlocks yet and plan to build a more combat oriented ship once I do and have better intimidate. For now running around in the Hauler: Hull 18 Armor 11 Engines 36 Sails 36 Crew 53 Cargo 192 plus 25 water and 25 electronics Guns 25 Toros 6
Cargo includes cargo hold but I went for an escape shuttle rather than weapons locker... Although given the hull/armor and lack of crew I am much more likely to be killed in a melee than hull crush.

Just got the Ship Designer and this is my new starting ship design. I mostly like gun bunny/boarding style of play and have little to no use for torps, especially for a starting captain when the cost and difficulty of replacing expended ones is an issue. Also enjoy trading early game while building my skills in preparation for my preferred past time of spying and blockading against Rychart. Not the most fuel efficient design but gives the Cargo space, Crew and guns to keep it usefull with judicious upgrades for quite sometime.
Vindicator Hull 12 Armor 4 Engines 24 Sails 23 Crew 45 Cargo 55 Guns 16 Torps 0 Medium Quick

I've been using the Slayerz NR2 for some time now, and it's still almost the most perfect ship I've ever had. I've been tweaking a little, and will unveil the Slayernz NR3 soon.
I'm at 1075 hostile encounters, and 183 contracts. Working my way to the Paragon contractor (350 contracts) and Fist of Shalun (1117 battles). the NR3 will help push me over the line

Working my way to the Paragon contractor (350 contracts) and Fist of Shalun (1117 battles). the NR3 will help push me over the line I've been away from ST for month's and seeing all the new stuff is great. Having a bunch more achievements to do is incentive to spend serious time again. Damn the TB's and their Socks too many great games and not nearly enough time to play them. I've got ST, ST4X and HoS all demanding my time and attention, don't dare open up CK, TA or AoP to see how they've come along, getting little enough sleep as is

WF Consumption 0.87 Red, 0.00 Green You could probably make it more fuel efficient if you lower crew as crew is not vary important compared to WF consumption I think thats one thing you should change for the NR3

Love being able to build my own craft to start. Still trying to get a perfect spy craft. But i usually start with 8 hull 4 armor 18 sails 16 engine 30 crew 30 hold 6 guns and 4 torps. Usual upgrades w/f weapons omni and others. Does well for attack or retreat. Good job guys 8 Hull you insane! no it's the other stats with 8 hull thats insane. I've made an effective ship with only 10 hull the other stats made up for it.

Don't really know if this is my *Dream Ship* but it is my first build (all the numbers are with out any upgrade modifiers)
Hull 18 Armor 10 Eng 35 Sails 40 Crew 60 Holds 100 Gun 25 Torp 20 Speed Fast Agility Med Red 0.87 Green 0.00
Purpose: Indi Smuggler
Any suggestions on Making it better? Current Cost is 923,882 built on Aro.

topper4125Nice ship. It's a shame you didn't get just 1 more engine into your design - 18 hull and 36 engine = Fast agility It's certainly got a good number of torps - I suspect you are a closet Cadarian It will definitely meet the needs of an indi smuggler.

Went in and added that last extra engine and a few extra holds... it went over my $1M budget, but it was worth it. New specs: i.imgur.com/AMam1nB.jpgAnd for Upgrades I went with: Steuctural: Cargo Hold (+20%) Combat: Escape Shuttle Interior: water-fuel tank Propulsion: Smugglers Hold (why is that a propulsion upgrade? Am I stowing passengers and cargo in the fire walls of retro-rockets or something?) Armament: Omni-Stealth Array. Which gives me a total of 151 holds, and fairly quiet trips through the universe. Now I just have to find a political officer, and any of the following: 1) Tradesman 2) Mechanic 3) Body Guard 4) Scout First one I find wins

Wait, Cadarians have closets?
Usually Cadarians only have one spare suit. Armored pajamas.
Been using the following. Still a very new player, haven't found much better yet.
Hull:20 Armor:19 Eng:51 Sails:51 Crew:70 Cargo:160 Guns:21 Hellos:26
Its a custom build. Any suggestions for improvement?
